Green Card (Adjustment of Status) interview experience:<\/span><\/h2>\n

Our green card interview was on January 7th, 2016.<\/span><\/h2>\n

My wife (applicant) and I (petitioner\/citizen) were both pretty nervous because our recent address change had not been reported to USCIS prior to this interview day.<\/span><\/h2>\n

But as our attorney had said, this change of address was not an issue at all\u2014the IO conveniently asked us if we were still living in our old address and kindly changed the address for us on various forms upon being told we had moved to a new address.<\/span><\/h2>\n

This process took almost 5 minutes which seemed tedious, but after the IO finished some paper work, he asked to see some “reinforcing” documents to prove our relationship.<\/span><\/h2>\n

We shared the documents and then had a brief conversation about how my wife and I met, and wrapped up the conversation with the IO explaining to us the difference of regular green card and the conditional green card.<\/span><\/h2>\n

The overall conversation was very pleasant with a lot of smiles and a few laughters.<\/span><\/h2>\n

I was and still am convinced that our IO was a particularly nice individual.<\/span><\/h2>\n

The IO showed us out of the room after telling us that he sends out the interview results at the end of the day for all of his interviews.<\/span><\/h2>\n

But he did say “congratulations” towards the end of the interview, which made us feel a little relieved.<\/span><\/h2>\n

After the interview, I immediately signed up on the USCIS website to enable the case status alert.<\/span><\/h2>\n

I got an email the next day saying that the case status was updated to: card in production.<\/span><\/h2>\n

In short, I was very impressed and satisfied with the overall experience.<\/span><\/h2>\n

I didn’t know what to expect because I knew an immigrant from Romania was not a typical client your office handles.<\/span><\/h2>\n

But despite this, I was pleasantly surprised of the speed in which your office was able to help me and my wife.<\/span><\/h2>\n

I loved that most of the communication\/documentation exchange was doable through google-doc and email.<\/span><\/h2>\n

With my busy work\/life schedule and the nature of my relationship with my then-fiance, it was so crucial that a lot of paperworks could be done remotely.<\/span><\/h2>\n

In addition, I very much appreciated the availability of Mr. Ryu and the staff members during your business hours.<\/span><\/h2>\n

The KakaoTalk availability was a cherry on top.<\/span><\/h2>\n

I would recommend Mr. Ryu’s service to anyone who are looking for immigration-related help.<\/span><\/h2>\n
